Job summary

Paragon Technologies in Charlotte, NC seeks a detail‑oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. You will verify records, prepare items for shipment, build crates, and update the enterprise system.

Proficiency with carrier documentation and data entry into FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, and Purolator is desired. Responsibilities also include operating a forklift, packaging tasks, and handling paperwork for brokers.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping records and documentation.
• Proficient data entry into enterprise systems.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for ground carrier transport via wrapping and boxing.
• Utilize hand tools to build crates for freight shipping.
• Secure items by strapping to pallets.
• Update item status in the enterprise system.
• Input necessary data into vendor systems (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worlship, Purolator).
• Create electronic BOL and ship items via freight carrier.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight carriers.
• Crate and file customers’ paperwork through Boarder Connect.
• Complete and file broker paperwork.
• Receive jobs from customers and Account Managers.
• Place job tags on items.
• Scan shipper and tag shipper to enterprise system.
• Examine items and verify accuracy.

• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment.
