Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support shipping/receiving by preparing BOLs, scheduling freight, and processing domestic and international shipments. You will coordinate event materials and verify shipment accuracy while working with production, fulfillment and operations to ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires the ability to operate a power jack, tow motor and forklift (certification provided).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bills of lading (BOL) and check items against work orders for accuracy.
• Schedule freight and process domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate event materials and update shipment Reports and inventory.
• Maintain communication with CSRs to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist in other departments as needed to keep jobs on schedule and within scope.

Description

The Shipping Coordinator supports the shipping/receiving department and operations by preparing BOL’s, scheduling freight, processing domestic and international shipments, coordinating event materials, verifying shipment accuracy, resolving shipping issues, and assisting the shipping team to maintain workflow and SLA expectations. This position partners with production, fulfillment and operations to ensure quality, service, and on-time delivery in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring customer requirements (external as well as internal) and organization goals are achieved.

Must have experience operating a power jack, tow motor and fork lift. We provide the certification!

• Check for quality and consistency in packaged product.
• Prepares shipments and packs items to ensure safe delivery.
• Prepares bills of lading (BOL); checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
• Manages quality controls with international shipments, both sending and receiving.
• Updates shipped reports, system updates and inventory to ensure systems are accurate.
• Maintain productive lines of communications with the CSRs regarding issues to ensure jobs and product are shipped correctly and on-time
• Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

Other duties as assigned and may consist of assisting a peer department, to include but not limited to, assisting in the following departments: mailing, print finishing, fulfillment, warehouse, order picking.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Activity: Standing up to 8 hours per day with the ability to walk, touch and climb at any point throughout the day. Some equipment requires the ability to walk narrow ramps and reach to adjust function. Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 30 lbs. regularly.
• Prior Forklift certification is a plus
