Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Allentown, PA is seeking a detail‑oriented logistics professional to coordinate domestic and international shipments. You will work with shipping, customer service, production and carriers to ensure on‑time delivery and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing bills of lading, handling import/export paperwork, maintaining inventory records, and supporting warehouse operations while adhering to corporate transportation guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with basic math for invoicing and data entry.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software.
  • Knowledge of transportation guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with shipping, customer service, production and support to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Plan and execute international shipments with carriers and brokers.
  • Prepare import/export documentation including invoices and origin certificates.
  • Load plan, select carriers, and maintain shipment status communications.
  • Maintain inventory/shipment records and generate reports as needed.
  • Prepare bills of lading and domestic/international shipping documents.
  • Support warehouse operations and cycle counts.
  • Identify and solve supply chain issues between production and customers.

The Job
  • Work closely with shipping team, customer service, production, and other support departments to ensure product is delivered on time and efficiently to the customer
  • Work with carriers, freight forwarders, custom brokers, and international distributors to plan and execute shipments in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
  • Process all international documentation for import & export shipments, which may include, but is not limited to, commercial invoice, shippers export declaration, certificate of origin, shippers’ letter of instruction to meet all applicable federal and international laws
  • Load plan and select carriers based on established practices
  • Keep internal customers informed of shipment status and provide timely response to shipment inquiries
  • File and maintain records related to inventory, shipments, or other departmental needs
  • Maintain reports as requested
  • Prepare and enter bill of lading manifests and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
  • Warehouse operations responsibilities including, but not limited to, cycle counting, inventory control projects, and day to day operations
  • Identify, communicate, and solve problems found within the supply chain between production and end customer
  • Audit shipments and related documents for accuracy

  • Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Maneuver fluently between different computer systems

Location: Allentown, PA. Working type: onsite employee.

The Salary range for this position is $45,700.00 - $73,600.00. This is the lowest to highest annual full‑time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job‑related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker. The salary range listed in this job posting reflects the range for the primary location specified. The salary range may vary for other locations. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual merit increases.
