The core hours are Monday - Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.The hourly rate for this position is $22.93 per hour, plus a $0.40 shift differential.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. This position plans and schedules truckload and LTL shipments, processes shipping documentation, supports order fulfillment activities, and maintains accurate shipping records within SAP and other business systems. Serves as a key liaison between Production, Logistics, Material Handling, carriers, and customers to ensure shipment schedules are met and customer requirements are fulfilled. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, the ability to safely operate forklift equipment, and the flexibility to work in both office and manufacturing environments while maintaining a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.In this function, you will:• Plan, route, and coordinate truckload shipments in partnership with the logistics team.• Process delivery drops and print pick tickets for order handlers.• Schedule less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers as business needs require.• Coordinate with Production regarding finished-goods completion and availability for scheduled truckload shipments.• Assist material handlers with established bundling procedures.• Gather and consolidate orders from departments throughout the facility as needed.• Enter, maintain, and verify shipping and order data accurately and timely.• Use SAP to process, track, and support shipping transactions and related documentation.• Safely operate forklift trucks and other authorized material-handling equipment.• Apply strong knowledge of products and services to support an effective transition between production-floor and office responsibilities.• Direct employees, truck drivers, and incoming traffic through designated plant areas while providing professional customer service.• Communicate effectively with employees, drivers, carriers, Production, Logistics, and other internal partners.• Maintain organized shipping records and coordinate priorities to support timely order fulfillment.• Comply with all Eaton Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.• Perform other related duties as assigned to support shipping and plant operations.KEY TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE• Truckload and LTL shipment coordination• SAP shipping and order transactions• Pick-ticket and shipping-document processing• Data entry and records accuracy• Forklift and material-handling practices• Finished-goods and order-flow coordination• Customer service and traffic directionQualifications:Basic Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.• Minimum one (1) year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, material handling, inventory control, or a related manufacturing support role.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Prior forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, order fulfillment, or a related manufacturing support function.• Experience using SAP or a comparable enterprise resource planning system.• Experience coordinating truckload and LTL shipments.Skills:Position Success Criteria:• Demonstrated organizational, planning, coordination and communication skills, verbally and written.• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for communication, data management, reporting, and shipment coordination.• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate shipping records, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office and SAP systems.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing shipment and production requirements.• Ability to work effectively between office and plant-floor environments.• Ability to provide clear direction to employees, drivers, and visitors while maintaining professional customer service.• Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Logistics, material handlers, order handlers, and other departments.• Commitment to accurate documentation, timely communication, safety, quality, and customer requirements.• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform material-handling activities throughout the workday.• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, moving equipment, varying temperatures, and required personal protective equipment.• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 50 pounds using available mechanical assistance or team-lifting practices, as appropriate.• Ability to work overtime as business needs require.#IND123We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
