Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Shipping Material Handler on 2nd shift. The role includes picking, staging, loading/unloading, and forklift operation to ensure smooth product flow. Strong lifting ability and attention to safety are required; weekend overtime may be needed.

Hourly rate starts at $22.71 plus a $1.20 shift differential. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered. Sherman, TX residents preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT plans accepted.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders, stage, load and unload material to keep product flow smooth and efficient.
• Operate forklifts and move materials safely, stack pallets, and palletize as needed.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement activities and assist with yard/ dock operations.

The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Responsible for picking orders, staging, loading and/or unloading material from trucks and/or other departments in order to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.Move material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.Operate forklifts.Store, space and deliver materials or products.Stack pallets and arrange materials.You may be required to palletize and secure material as needed.Use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.May utilize the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers around the yard and in and out of the dock doors, as needed or required.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionValid Driver's LicenseEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
