Job summary

The Simplot Company in Pasco, WA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will coordinate with carriers to schedule trucks and prepare documentation such as Bills of Lading, ensuring COAs verify inventory transfers and creating tickets for purchased products.

You will also answer phones, input data, and support the Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse Leads while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years related experience and/or training
• Preferred two years plus related experience in warehousing / clerical

Responsibilities

• Ensures COA’s verify the transferring of the product
• Completes bills of lading and paperwork required for transferring product
• Creates tickets for new purchased product

Summary

The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for the scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse. This includes coordinating details with carriers to schedule trucks and filling out proper documentation, such as the Bill of Landing and other paperwork required for the transferring of the product. The Shipping Clerk must ensure that the COA’s are there verifying inventory transaction and creating tickets for purchase products. In addition, this position will also be in charge of answering the phones in a professional manner and data input.

Typical Education
