Job summary

Panasonic Connect North America is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk in Leawood, KS to handle incoming and outgoing shipments and support the shipping department. You will assemble boxes, address packages, prepare bills of lading, and use a computer-based system to record data.

You will verify items against records, determine shipping methods, pack and label materials, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities are essential.
• Effective communication skills are needed to coordinate with teams and carriers.
• Detail-oriented mindset with accuracy in documentation.
• Working knowledge of Windows and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of shipments.
• Prepare documents such as bills of lading and shipping orders.
• Document shipping discrepancies as they occur.
• Determine shipping method for materials using procedures, routes, and rates.
• Receive and ship materials; pack, label, and affix postage.
