Job summary

Metro Supply Chain Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Shipping Clerk responsible for order fulfillment and coordinating inbound/outbound freight using WMS, with focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will perform pick, replenishment, and dock control tasks; ensure driver logs, trailer moves, and compliance with safety standards. This is a full-time clerical role supporting a busy warehouse team.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• College diploma in Logistics Management a plus.
• Three (3) years warehouse / logistics experience, preferably with some team lead experience.
• Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS), preferably Red Prairie.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking and Replenishment: ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Inbound/Outbound Freight: coordinate loads and dock activities.
• Monitor WMS to track receiving/shipping progress and resolve delays.
• Prepare inbound/outbound paperwork and ensure compliance with docs.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping in the warehouse.
