Job summary

Tower Extrusions, LLC. in Wylie, TX is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations. The role involves using EPICS to access orders, coordinating pickups, and preparing BOLs and manifests for outbound shipments from the dock area.

The successful candidate will work closely with the shipping supervisor, loaders, and receive ongoing training. This full-time position offers benefits and requires comfort with outdoor dock work.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or clerical experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in an ERP system (EPICS experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Able to work on the shipping floor and coordinate with loaders.
• Role involves outdoor work on dock and yard.

Responsibilities

• Look up customer and sales order information in EPICS.
• Run reports comparing sales order status to the load board schedule.
• Print ticket picklists and mark bundles on the shipping floor for loaders.
• Follow up with loaders to confirm all bundles are loaded and scanned.
• Take photos of loads and upload them to the company drive.
• Prepare shipping picklists, manifests, BOLs, and shipping packets.
• Arrange FedEx or UPS shipments as needed.
• Assist and/or cover the receiving clerk position when needed.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the shipping supervisor or manager.

Tower Extrusions, LLC. is a privately owned aluminum extrusion company that has been in business for over 40 years. We have seen tremendous growth over that time and are looking to add to our team at our Wylie, TX location.

We are hiring a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations at our Wylie, TX facility. This role works closely with the shipping supervisor and loaders to prepare, document, and track outbound loads.
