Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, warehouse, or quality inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail for verifying material against paperwork.
• Comfortable with photo documentation and shared drive uploads.
• Able to work on the receiving floor and communicate discrepancies clearly.
• This role is not desk-only; expect regular time outdoors on the shipping/receiving dock and yard.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the shipping supervisor on loads scheduled to be received.
• Inspect loads before and during unloading, documenting any damage with photos.
• Compare received material to the packing list, including die, finish, length, and piece count.
• Photograph bundles, pallets, and racks along with tickets, and upload to the shared drive.
• Report damage and paperwork discrepancies to respective departments or shippers.
• Email the customer's CSR when discrepancies are found in material received.
• Cover the shipping clerk position when needed.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the shipping supervisor or manager.
