Job summary

The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. Requires high school diploma or GED, pallet jack certification, and 6+ months of order picking/shipping

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Walkie/electric pallet jack certification or ability to obtain in 30 days.
• 6+ months experience with order picking and/or RF Scanner.
• 6+ months experience shipping in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, policies and procedures.
• Maintains clean, organized warehouse and shipping areas per 5S practices.
• Picks customer orders accurately from warehouse stock with FIFO.
• Packs orders with appropriate materials for product and shipping method.
• Affixes correct shipping labels on packed cartons.
• Assembles containers and packaging materials as needed.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to move shipments.
• Performs periodic cycle counts and participates in continuous improvement.
• Assists in other warehouse functions as needed.
