Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Columbus is seeking a Distribution/Logistics professional to ensure accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials. You will track, label, and issue inventory, coordinate with carriers, and maintain records using SAP and Epicor.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming shipments while ensuring quality and accuracy standards are met.
• Label all incoming material with the associated part number and project number.
• Deliver received goods to proper area of plant.
• Pack outgoing shipments in accordance with size and weight specifications.
• Set up small shipments through UPS and FedEx shipping programs.
• Work with third party shipping partners to set up freight & other large shipments, as needed.
• Picking inventory for production staging according to production orders.
• Maintain inventory integrity for all products being received, shipped and picked.
• Maintain and control all material transaction related records.
• Document and return all unused material from project builds to proper storage location.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP & Epicor) for job related transactions.
• Monitor indirect material inventory kanban and submit requisitions for replenishment.
• Understand Lincoln Electric’s EHS policy and how it relates to this job.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
