Qualifications

• Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with shipping software and systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments with packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Create and maintain shipping records, including bills of lading and packing lists.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and customer service to schedule shipments.
• Liaise with freight carriers to arrange pickups and track shipments.
• Monitor shipping supplies inventory and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for defects and compliance with specs.
• Address shipping issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards; handle hazardous materials if applicable.
• Build shipping crates using power tools with PPE.
• Maintain a clean, 5S shipping area.
