Join to apply for the Shipping Clerk - 2nd Shift role at Transcendia, Inc.

Job Summary: To properly prepare and transport material to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to our customers. (Hours: 3:45 pm - 12:15 am, M-F; training on 1st shift 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

Job Duties:

1. Maintain a clean and orderly work area/warehouse.
2. Complete necessary paperwork by entering data into computer systems to ship materials.
3. Verify all skids are properly packaged, including daily shipments, makes, holds, and future jobs.
4. Communicate with carriers regarding pickup orders.
5. Prepare materials for shipment, protect on all sides with shrink-wrap, and secure with banding and tensioners.
6. Prepare export materials using special export skids and cutting wood as needed.
7. Transport and organize materials for shipping.
8. Load outbound trucks, matching carriers with correct orders.
9. Willingness to work in other departments and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of related experience.
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
3. Experience with tow motors and successful completion of tow motor certification.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills.
5. Good problem-solving skills.
6. Professional interaction with coworkers, departments, and vendors.
7. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
8. Basic computer skills.
9. Willingness to work as part of a team or independently.
10. Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
11. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
12. Ability to stand for 8 hours with some bending and lifting involved.
