Shipping Clerk

Shift/Hours:

Monday - Friday, 2nd shift

Pay Rate:

$23/hr

Job Responsibilities:

1. Process shipping papers for overnight shippers (Federal Express, UPS, Emery, etc.)
2. Perform kitting procedures
3. Operate and perform user maintenance on foam packing equipment
4. Pack and label outbound shipments
5. Load and unload trucks
6. Put stock away as directed
7. Perform duties related to stockroom, receiving, and shipping
8. Operate label maker and print labels as needed
9. Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to operate a pallet jack/forklift or willingness to get certification
2. Ability to operate foam packing equipment and perform user maintenance or willingness to learn
3. Familiarity with government packing procedures and air shipment processing
4. Hazmat certification or willingness to obtain certification
5. Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs
6. Basic math skills
7. Comfortable using a computer and various software programs

Compensation:

Pay rate ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
