Job summary

Black Bear Talent is hiring a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations, ensure orders are processed accurately, and maintain an Excel log of shipments. The role requires prior shipping clerk experience, strong computer skills, and dependable transportation, with pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime as required. Responsibilities include processing shipments via CSI/Pacejet (ERP) or WorldShip in emergencies

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders by quantity and item number verification.
• Pack, seal, weigh, and label outgoing shipments.
• Process shipments via CSI/Pacejet or WorldShip in emergencies.
• Prepare shipping labels or bills of lading for FedEx, DHL, or LTL.
• Prepare international shipments with daily paperwork from Inventory/Export Specialist.
• Schedule pickups for UPS and domestic LTL shipments.
• Review daily 'Orders to Ship' report for shipments due.
• Maintain Excel log of on-time shipping, dates, and quantities.
• Check in and disposition manufactured parts to designated locations.

Job description

Are you detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working with computers and shipping systems? Black Bear Talent is hiring a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations and ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with overtime as required.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Accurately assemble orders by verifying quantity and item numbers.
• Accurately pack, seal, weigh and label all outgoing shipments.
• Transacts all shipments through Order Shipping (CSI/ERP System) into Pacejet or in an emergency process through WorldShip
• Prepare shipping labels or bills of lading for shipping outside of the CSI/Pacejet system such as FedEx, DHL, or LTL etc.
• Prepares International shipments by gathering paperwork from the Inventory/Export Specialist daily
• Schedule pickups for non-UPS shipments or domestic LTL freight shipments by any carrier
• Review daily emailed “Orders to Ship” report for orders to be shipped that day
• Maintain and report on-time shipping, date, and quantity of shipments in the daily excel log
• Check in and disposition manufactured parts to the designated locations

Requirements:
