Summary: To deliver the Ultimate Corrugated Experience through maximization of traffic patterns while utilizing our own fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work safely at all times, following all accepted company safe work practices.
2. Maintain a clean work area.
3. Read and interpret the dry end run schedule.
4. Perform all tasks of a Checker Loader.
5. Organize delivery schedules based on production data from manufacturing software.
6. Schedule delivery drivers to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries.
7. Communicate the shipping plan clearly to transportation associates and Scheduling.
8. Recognize and notify Scheduling of any inability to service customers to make alternative plans.
9. Ensure unit count accuracy, proper tagging, and unitization.
10. Ship orders in their entirety; report short counts immediately.
11. Ensure Checker Loaders are properly trained.
12. Complete trailer inspections and sweep logs as per SOP.

Functions:

1. Monitor and enforce safety and company rules.
2. Coordinate with Scheduling and control room for accurate shipping line-up.
3. Translate production schedules into transportation line-ups; verify trailer pool; produce lineup.
4. Report discrepancies to scheduling.
5. Ensure proper staffing for shipping.
6. Enforce quality standards, including unitization and tagging.
7. Work with Control Room on overrun, underrun, or scrapped units.
8. Monitor Checker Loaders' performance.
9. Inspect work area for cleanliness at shift start and changeover.
10. Address rework issues promptly.
11. Collaborate with the control room to optimize load unitization.
12. Provide performance feedback and arrange training as needed.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, handle, talk, walk, reach; occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift over 50 pounds, and operate equipment safely. Must have color vision.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving parts, vibration, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally to wet conditions, heights, chemicals, heat, and electrical hazards. Noise level is usually loud.
