ABC Animal Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Billing Data Clerk to assist our finance team with accurate entry of billing and payment information. This entry-level position plays a vital role in supporting the clinic’s day-to-day financial operations by maintaining up-to-date records of client transactions and services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input treatment notes, visit summaries, and medication records into the electronic medical records (EMR) system

• Digitize and upload scanned documents such as vaccine records and surgical reports

• Ensure proper file naming, categorization, and storage of digital records

• Verify patient and client information for completeness and accuracy

• Communicate with on-site staff to resolve documentation gaps or errors

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient data

• Follow internal protocols for record formatting and EMR data standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 0–2 years of data entry or clerical experience (prior healthcare or veterinary exposure a plus)

• Fast and accurate typing and file management skills

• Proficiency with cloud storage platforms, email, and basic data entry tools
