Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our Detection and Measurement division. You will coordinate all outgoing shipments, prepare documentation, and collaborate with customer service and sales to ensure timely delivery.

You will handle quotes, international shipments, inventory of shipping materials, and adherence to safety and EHS policies while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• International shipping experience including knowledge of Incoterms.
• Minimum of 2 or more years' experience in warehouse setting.
• Customer Service Experience.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

Responsible for coordination of all outgoing shipments, creating appropriate shipping documentation, maintaining associated records, and coordinating with customer service/sales teams.

8. Assist with unloading of delivery trucks as needed
9. Responsible for inventory of shipping materials
10. Maintain clean, tidy and safe work place.
11. Abide by company and EHS regulations/policies.
12. Advise manager on implementing changes.
13. Advises manager of risks or potential hazards as required.
14. Implement continuous improvement processes.
15. Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.
16. Co-operate with other staff, supervisors and managers.
17. Perform any other duties as reasonably directed.

Required Experience

• International Shipping Experience including knowledge of Incoterms

• Minimum of 2 or more years' experience in warehouse setting
• Customer Service Experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• SAP experience
• Forklift experience

• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail

Education & Certifications

• High School diploma

Travel & Working Environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50lbs
