Job summary

SPX Technologies, a leader in heating solutions, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Assembler based in Missouri. You will prepare product for export and receive materials needed for the business.

Core duties include receiving and sorting goods, processing paperwork, validating merchandise, preparing outgoing shipments to shipping standards, and maintaining UPS shipments.

Candidates typically have 1–3 months related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

• Administer all paperwork associated with the department, packing slips, freight tickets, factory orders, and bills of lading.

• Maintain UPS shipments and on-line system.

What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)

Required Experience

• One to three months related experience and/or training

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel & Working Environment

• Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
