Job summary

Amcor Pryor OK is seeking a Full Time Shipping Clerk to process and reconcile shipping documents, schedule inbound and outbound shipments, and perform monthly inventory duties. The role supports customer services and ensures accuracy in orders processed for shipment.

Responsibilities include generating bills of lading, handling freight and packaging, processing billing, and auditing freight invoices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a busy office environment are required.

Qualifications

  • Understanding shipping requirements, weight limits and customs paperwork.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents and order forms.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts including percentages and areas.
  • Ability to apply written or verbal instructions and use standard office equipment.
  • Basic math and computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate bill of lading for outbound freight.
  • Receive incoming freight and stock transfers.
  • Process billing and export documents.
  • Audit freight invoices with outside auditors.
  • Participate in monthly warehouse inventories.

Job Description
Primary Function

Process shipping documents for customer orders and reconciling Bills of Ladings, schedule inbound and outbound shipments. Perform inventory functions monthly. Coordinate issues on orders with customer services. Assure accuracy on orders processed for shipment through verification.

  • Follow all Company policies and procedures
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager as needed
  • Generate bill of lading for all outbound freight
  • Receive incoming freight including stock transfers
  • Receive packaging
  • Process billing
  • Process export documents
  • Audit freight invoices and reconcile with outside audit service
  • Participates in monthly inventories for warehouse

Work Environment

This position requires that the employee be able to work in a busy office environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

Experience

6 months of related experience preferred

  • Ability to understand shipping/loading requirements, weight requirements, customs paperwork, inventory control and customers’ special instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and order forms and checklists
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, area, surfaces and volume
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Computer and Microsoft literate
  • Ability to use office equipment
