Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload shipments and handle related paperwork. The role includes maintaining inventory accuracy and performing daily forklift checks to ensure safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus a forklift certificate. The job requires adherence to plant safety rules and quality standards such as ISO, SQF and FDA requirements. Forklift operation supports our packaging operations at the Richmond facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• Requires Forklift Operator Certificate (Landis Plastics internal training).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments of product.
• Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the shipping and receiving of product.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by means of physical inventories and use of the DC Links.
• Assist other departments when an operator is needed.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Follow all Plant Safety rules.
• Follow ISO, SQF and FDA requirements.

• Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments of product
• Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the shipping and receiving of product
• Assist in the maintaining of accurate inventory records by means of physical inventories and use of the “DC Links”
• Assist other departments when an operator is needed
• Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts
• Follow all Plant Safety rules
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, SQF and FDA requirements
