HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a fast-paced electronics and communications manufacturer to hire a Shipping Clerk. This position is perfect for someone detail-oriented, organized, and ready to contribute to an efficient warehouse team. Position: Shipping Clerk

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch).

Saturdays may be required.

Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $16 - $18 DOE

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process domestic and international shipments using MRP and shipping systems.
• Verify item counts, weights, or measurements for accuracy against shipping documents like bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Coordinate with freight companies to secure competitive rates and shipping schedules.
• Assist other warehouse personnel when needed and support with opening/closing gates.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Document all shipments, inventory changes, and product movements accurately.
• Assemble, adjust, or repair items for shipment if necessary.
• Inspect stock for damage or defects and report findings.
• Operate a forklift to move or deliver stock as needed.
• Issue materials and supplies per requisition orders.
• Label items using tags, stamps, or marking tools.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate freight handling charges and complete shipping documentation accurately.
• Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and move around throughout the day.
• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts (training may be provided).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Receiving and Forklift experience is a PLUS.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
