SURGE Staffing is hiring a dependable Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate for a Perrysville, Ohio warehouse. This role handles preparing shipments, verifying orders, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed. 7:00 AM–3:00 PM shift with steady attendance expected.

Formación

• Shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow shipping documents.
• Able to lift, carry, load and unload materials.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare products and materials for outgoing shipments.
• Verify shipment information, product counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, and other shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move materials and products to designated warehouse areas using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, and shelves, including manual handling when necessary.
• Place products into shipping containers and prepare items for shipment.
• Attach shipping labels to cartons and packages.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and warehouse supplies.
• Organize products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Keep aisles, loading docks, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits clear and free of debris.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.

Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate – 1st Shift

Location: Perrysville, OH
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate for a warehouse facility in Perrysville, Ohio!

In this role, you will help prepare products and materials for shipment, verify incoming and outgoing orders, organize warehouse inventory, and assist with loading and unloading shipments. Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is a plus.
• Ability to accurately count, verify, and organize products.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow shipping documents and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
