Aerotek is hiring a Shipping and Production Associate in Norristown, PA to support daily packing and general labor on the production floor. You will kit, fold, and pack sponges per standards, while maintaining quality and safety protocols in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

The role offers a daytime schedule, potential extension and conversion to longer-term work, and alignment with a team of about 25 on the floor plus additional warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with packing or general labor in a production or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate kitting, folding, and packing.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods during the shift.
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity.
• Reliability and punctuality to work scheduled hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Work Environment

You will work on a busy production floor with approximately 25 team members, while the broader facility includes an additional warehouse area with around 6 people. The production area is not temperature controlled, but there are numerous fans to improve comfort. The schedule runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch. No personal protective equipment is required for this role, and casual attire such as shorts is allowed. The assignment is initially planned for one week, with the possibility of extension and conversion to a longer-term position.

This is a Contract position based out of Norristown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
