Job summary

The Pharmacy Hub in Florida's Miami area is seeking a Shipping Clerk to organize and process shipments for the pharmacy, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will pick, pack, and label orders, ensure proper packaging for medications, and collaborate with staff to meet logistics goals while maintaining a safe shipping environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a shipper/packer or in a similar logistics or warehouse role.
• Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Available to work flexible 10-hour shifts within the timeframe of 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
• Basic computer skills to process orders and track shipments.
• Knowledge of proper handling and packaging of medications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Processing

Receive, verify, and process orders for shipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards

Accurately pick, pack, and label packages for shipment

Packaging

Ensure medications are packaged appropriately, considering temperature, stability, and packaging specifications for safe transport

Select and utilize correct shipping supplies as required for medication safety

Collaborate to maintain an organized shipping environment

Additional projects and responsibilities may be designated by the supervisor

Work closely with staff to support daily shipping operations and meet logistics goals

Communicate effectively with other departments and external partners to resolve shipping-related issues

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a shipper/packer or in a similar logistics or warehouse role

Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred

ENVIRONMENT AND COGNITIVE / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Warehouse or shipping facility environment, including potential exposure to cold storage areas

Ability to concentrate on detailed tasks with a high level of accuracy

Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Requires normal vision range

Able to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, climb, and stack items safely

Expected hours

40 hours per week, with additional overtime as needed depending on business demands

This is a 100% onsite role; remote or hybrid work is not available

$17 - $19 USD
