Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk in Lebanon, Indiana to support outbound logistics and ensure timely, accurate shipments. You will package, label, and process outbound orders while coordinating with carriers and internal teams to maintain on-time deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in shipping/logistics, with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and WMS. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, with a focus on accuracy

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Logistics: Prepare, package, label, and process outbound shipments while ensuring compliance with company and carrier requirements.
• Shipment Coordination: Partner with carriers and internal teams to support on-time deliveries, schedule pickups, and manage shipping timelines.
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate shipping records, including packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
• Data Entry & Systems Tracking: Enter and update shipment information in warehouse management systems and utilize Excel and Outlook for reporting, communication, and scheduling.
• Issue Resolution & Communication: Collaborate across departments to resolve shipping issues and provide updates on shipment status, delays, and documentation requirements.

** Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or a related logistics environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.
• Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory control, warehouse operations, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
