Jetstream of Houston is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily parts shipping operations. You will review orders, pick, pack, and load shipments while updating the ERP/MRP system to reflect actions.

Cross-train in Machining and Assembly areas and maintain 5S standards to ensure efficient, safe work practices. You will identify discrepancies, coordinate replenishments, and perform forklift audits as required, contributing to on-time delivery and inventory integrity in a dynamic warehouse

Responsabilidades

• Review daily Parts Order report and print pick lists to prioritize shipping workload.
• Pull, stage and pack parts; update systems to reflect actions.
• Identify discrepancies in availability or location and resolve with relevant teams.
• Choose proper packing methods to minimize damage during transit.
• Load trucks and document transactions following procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and request replenishment when near reorder points.
• Perform forklift audit at shift start/end and report maintenance needs.
• Create and input documentation to prepare and ship completed units.
• Verify inventory status using the designated software.
• Maintain 5S-compliant work area and communicate maintenance issues to Shipping Manager.
• Cross-train in Machining, Small and Large Assembly as needed.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

• Daily review of the Parts Order report, print pick list and prioritize work load to determine shipping objectives;
• Pull parts, stage in designated shipping area, update appropriate software to reflect actions and pack parts for shipment;
• Identify potential discrepancies in availability or location of parts requested and work with appropriate personnel to resolve;
• Determine and use appropriate packing methods to ensure parts are secured for shipping and minimize damage to part;
• Load trucks and document transactions in accordance with established procedures;
• Identify and request replenishment of stock when levels are nearing or below the threshold reorder level;
• Inspect and perform fork lift audit at the beginning and end of shift. Perform routine maintenance on fork lift as required, Notify appropriate personnel of any issues;
• Create, assemble, and input documentation/transactions necessary to prepare, package and ship completed units
• Use appropriate software system to verify status of inventory;
• Cross-train in other areas of operations, including Machining, Small Assembly and Large Assembly and be willing to work in these areas as needed;
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise Shipping Manager of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved;
• Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned;
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, and reach to a significant degree.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Understanding of basic shipping terminology and basic carpentry.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Basic computer skills, including email and manufacturing resource planning (“MRP”) software
