Job summary

Acara Solutions in Geneva, OH is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a temporary role. You will package, store, pull, and ship finished goods and raw materials, interfacing with freight carriers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of shipping experience. SAP and carrier systems experience, strong attention to detail, and good verbal and written communication are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package, store, pull, and ship finished goods and raw materials according to specification.
• Receive daily materials in SAP and ensure data accuracy.

• Ensure AES Direct compliance and secure inventory control.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped and track shipments with carriers.
• Interface with Sales, Planning, and other areas to meet needs and resolve issues.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Location: Geneva, OH

Employment Type: Temporary

Industry: Semiconductor/Industrial and Medical Product

Compensation: $19-$25/Hour

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm or 7am-3:30pm shift

About the Opportunity

In this role, you'll be tasked to package, store, pull, and ship completed units and raw material for delivery to customers and other AE sites. You will interface with other departments and freight carriers regularly and perform receiving duties.

What You'll Do

• Packages finished goods, repaired units, and raw material according to specification and
  ensure they are shipped in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials are received daily, both physically and electronically in SAP.
• Inspect received goods against invoice noting discrepancies or damage.
• Ensures data accuracy and compliance to AES Direct.
• Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
• Ensure materials are prepared and shipped as per production/repair schedule.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Performs all necessary electronic transactions in SAP, freight carrier systems, and government
  agency websites.
• Orders packaging material as needed.
• Interfaces with Sales, Planning, and other areas to ensure needs are met and to help resolve
  problems.
• Interfaces with freight carriers to schedule pick-ups, track shipments, etc

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in shipping
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience utilizing carrier computer systems
