Job description

At ID Technology, you will contribute to the success of the company by expediting and documenting the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments in a professional, efficient, and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with all safety and hazardous material requirements.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assembling orders and preparing items for shipment
2. Weighing or measuring items to verify information against records
3. Determining shipment methods and examining outgoing shipments for specifications
4. Calculating the most cost-efficient shipping options
5. Accurately recording shipping and receiving data
6. Receiving and unpacking materials and supplies
7. Reporting damages and discrepancies
8. Completing shipping and receiving reports
9. Supporting inventory management tasks
10. Routing items to appropriate departments
11. Maintaining inventory of shipping materials
12. Operating machinery such as forklifts and hand trucks, with proper training
13. Assisting with building and ground maintenance
14. Practicing proper handling of hazardous materials

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior forklift operation experience preferred; willing to train
• Experience with shipping, receiving, purchasing, or inventory is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
• Mathematical skills and calculator proficiency
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
