Job summary

CMC is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Associate to support stocking, receiving and shipping in our industrial environment. You will work with SAP, print labels, and move materials with a forklift, ensuring accurate inventory and timely production.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail as you help maintain inventory integrity and support operations across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to take direction and complete tasks with minimum supervision.
• Driven with honesty and integrity.
• Team player in a fast-paced multi-discipline environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safety-conscious industrial environment, including use of PPE.
• Operate in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
• Receive stock materials from loader and inspect for uniformity and inventory tagging.
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and other documents.
• Print tags on jobs for daily production.
• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accuracy of order to ship.
• Operate a forklift to move materials as required.

What You'll Do

• Ability to work in a safety conscious industrial environment including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Ability to work in various types of weather conditions which include extreme heat and cold
• Ensure stock materials are received from loader and inspected for uniformity and attachment of inventory tags, SAP tags, and partial tags on open bundles
• Verify incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, etc.
• Print tags on jobs for daily production
• Ensure bundle count and bundle tagging accuracy
• Tagging and flagging materials outside
• Preparing orders for shipment, complete all paperwork, and ensure accuracy of the order to ship
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required

What You’ll Need
