Shipping Clerk# Shipping ClerkCharlotte, NC 28208## OverviewSalary Range$17.00 - $17.00 Hourly## Description**Responsibilities**| || --- || * Receives, verifies quantities, and properly records all transactions involving outgoing materials. Prepares documentation noting any discrepancies and transmits this information to Shipping Supervisor || * Loads, ships and properly records all transactions involving outgoing materials on the date scheduled. Routes shipments based on the most direct and economical manner following standard procedures or customer instructions. Records quantities, serial numbers and checks to ensure the order is correct. || * Packages and ships all service parts orders in a timely fashion || * Prepares proper shipping documents including packing lists, bills of lading and UPS logs. Provides necessary documentation to the Customer Service Department for invoicing purposes. || * Inspects all incoming material for damage and files freight claims as needed. Ensures quality of packaging is acceptable to prevent damage in shipment. || * Stocks material within 2 days of receipt of the goods. Organizes and maintains the warehouse and other raw material and finished goods storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.
