CBE, Inc. Located off Hwy 280 in Camp Hill, AL is looking for a Shipping Specialist for our growing Warehouse Team!

SUMMARY

The job's primary purpose is to ensure that all shipping documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all shipping documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.
• Assess warehouse inventory and advise repair schedule of parts needed.
• Assess field technician inventories and restock parts as needed.
• Prepare bills of laden for outbound and shipments.
• Check that orders are complete and the proper labels and paperwork have been applied.
• Verify and record outbound shipments; and distribute or scan documents to the appropriate department(s).
• Maintain good workplace safety and security processes and procedures.
• Maintain department files, routine correspondence with small parcel and LTL freight carriers.
• May be assigned to assist with physical inventories and cycle counting.
• May be assigned to perform general warehouse housekeeping and light maintenance.
• May be assigned to perform general warehouse duties, assembly and/or order‑filler duties, as needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
