The Shipping Clerk performs all aspects of inventory management. They oversee all shipping and receiving functions. This position is full time, 8 hr shifts, Mon-Friday. The shift is 7:00am -3:30pm with possible overtime.
Essential Functions

- Perform inventory and special-order receiving functions, including:
- Checking parts and packing slips against purchase orders
- Check for shipping damage
- Receiving items in EAM software and download goods receipts into teams
- Labeling and placing parts in designated locations (inventory parts and special- order items)
- Communicate receipt of special-order items to the requestor
- Perform shipping functions including:
- Packaging repair parts and items for shipment (boxes, pallets, etc.) May involve building packaging, boxes, etc.
- Coordinate shipping functions including bill of ladings.
- Inputting purchase requisitions
- Inputting repair parts in the repair parts log
- Maintain accurate inventory including:
- Manage parts issue check lists (issues and returns)
- Perform physical spot counts and reconcile as needed
- Facilitate complete quarterly inventory counts and reconcile as needed
- Issue parts from storeroom to work orders and cost centers in EAM
- Input time and corrective action to work orders and close work orders
- Occasional pickup and delivery of purchase and repair parts
- Organize inventory items in logical sequence
- Perform in depth analysis of inventory obsolescence and duplicates
- Maintain clean and orderly storeroom
- Assist maintenance planner and purchasing manager as needed
- Able and willing to train others

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Required Education and Experience
- High school degree (College or secondary education preferred)
- Experience with vendor or customer relations.
- Experience organizing detailed numerical information using computers
Preferred Education and Experience- Prior inventory management experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system
