Overview

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the daily shipping activities as assigned by the Pharmacy Procurement Manager. This role requires processing orders for shipping, proficiency in all operations of the Shipping Department, and providing high-quality service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company stockroom by organizing, cleaning, and cataloging shipping-related items regularly.
• Process orders with all necessary shipping paperwork, ensuring accuracy.
• Communicate shipment details to facilities, including manifest and tracking information.
• Operate shipping manifest printing and shipping software such as FedEx.
• Maintain shipping and receiving reports for management.
• Handle issues related to shipping or inventory.
• Pack orders using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
• Resolve shipping issues and customer complaints effectively.
• Handle large items requiring packaging, lifting, and pallet jacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Physical requirements include stooping, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting, and walking.
• Work as a team and collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Work efficiently without direct supervision.
• Must be 18 years or older.
