Job summary

Hörmann is seeking a qualified logistics professional in Sparta, TN to ensure counts on outgoing products match paperwork and to scan barcodes onto pallets. You will maintain shipment records and compile data in Excel, contributing to accurate, timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and organized, with experience in shipping, ERP and WMS systems (SAP and LFS), and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent with at least two years of progressive shipping/logistics experience.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping audit documentation and barcode scanning reports.
• Ensure that the correct products are loaded onto trailers according to the daily shipping schedule.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel, load leads, supervisors, and management.
• Learn and utilize ERP and WMS systems (such as SAP and LFS).
• Ensure accurate documentation throughout the process using the information systems mentioned above.
• Must promote a safe work environment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient loading dock and staging area.
• Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that counts on all outgoing products for delivery to sales centers and customers are accurate and match corresponding paperwork. This role also involves scanning product barcodes to pallets, maintaining accurate shipment records, and compiling data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

The successful candidate will be a reliable, self-motivated, results-oriented individual who demonstrates strong organizational, technical, and mechanical skills to motivate those around him/her through exemplary leadership.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Prepare shipping audit documentation and barcode scanning reports for all outbound shipments.
• Ensure that the correct products are loaded onto the appropriate trailers according to the daily shipping schedule.
• Communicate and work collaboratively with warehouse personnel, load leads, supervisors, and management.
• Learn and utilize ERP and WMS systems (such as SAP and LFS), which are essential to daily operations.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting to changing situations.
• Ability to read load sheets and count accurately.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn and utilize.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Ability to safely lift or move at least 50lbs
• Ability to safely climb stairs or a ladder
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment

Equipment Used:

Computers, calculators, loading equipment of various types, and other equipment as required.
