Job summary

Hörmann LLC is seeking a warehouse professional to support receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment in a safe, efficient environment. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate or use tools and equipment such as forklifts and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for damages.
• Compare packing slips with purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Document and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
• Store materials in designated locations using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, hand truck).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper labeling of materials.
• Implement and adhere to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices.
• Use of scanners and computers to communicate production order status
• Transport materials to production areas or other designated locations as needed.
• Pick and pack orders for shipment or internal distribution.
• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
