S&S Activewear Llc in Orlando, FL, is hiring a Shipping Associate - Cart Prep to support daily warehouse packing and shipping operations. The role runs Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with full-time, non-exempt status and a $15 hourly wage.

• Maintain urgency to ensure smooth order processing.
• Reuse or create boxes as needed for workload.
• Follow managers' directions and seek clarification when needed.
• Support Distribution Center team with needed tasks.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The objective for this role is to prepare the box size need for customers’ orders. Must pay attention to detail and be able to multitask and meet deadlines to accommodate priority orders.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$15 hourly

Monday-Friday (11am - 7:30pm), full-time, non-exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Prepare boxes/bags with shipping labels as designated by order.
• Proper placement of shipping label in the box or bag.
• Proper placement of carton content label with order.
• Designate flow of orders based upon carrier or urgency.
• Maintain proper boxes and bags needed within the area.
• Maintain a sense of urgency to keep the flow of the orders smooth.
• Reuse or make boxes as needed for the orders assigned.
• Follow management’s directive and ask for help when something is not clear.
• Serve as a member of the Distribution Center team, providing assistance as needed.

• Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Work well under pressure; able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend and lift (up to 60 pounds).
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Demonstrated flexibility with work schedule; ability to work overtime to meet business demands

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
• Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
• Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
