S&S Activewear in Lockport, IL, is hiring a Warehouse Associate II for a Monday–Friday shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. You will perform entry-level warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, and pop pick at our Prologis facility. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Compensation starts at $21.12 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced enviroment. Onsite location: 16427 W.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized warehouse.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Receive, stock, stage, and ship products to meet company standards.
• Prepare customer orders to meet daily production goals.
• Follow KPI targets for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Report and record discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Cross-train in Will Call and other duties as required.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the distribution center.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A Warehouse Associate II will perform entry level warehouse operations including one or more of the following: shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick or will call. Responsible for all warehouse operations, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook. They will primarily be working in our PopPick stations.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$21.12 per hour

Monday - Friday (2:30PM - 11PM) Full-Time, Non-Exempt

ONSITE: 16427 W. Prologis Parkway - Lockport, IL 60441

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
• Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
• Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
• Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
• Must be willing to cross train.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

I n performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
