Job summary
S&S Activewear LLC in Reading, PA is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Supervisor to support the Shipping Department Manager and Operations Manager. This role involves coaching staff, ensuring SOP compliance, and guiding daily shipping operations to meet cut-off times.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two years supervisor experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively
- Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals; strong organizational management skills
- Detail oriented and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible hours and overtime when needed
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily attendance and performance reports for employees
- Lead team kickoff meetings and monitor breaks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the shipping process
- Make operational decisions to meet shipping cut-offs
- Perform annual performance evaluations
- Provide leadership to all department employees
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and participate in special projects
- Monitor workflow to ensure quality and timely shipment of orders

S&S Activewear is seeking a Shipping Department Supervisor to provide support to the Shipping Department Manager and Operations Manager. They will also Provide direct interaction with all team members involved in shipping orders, provide assistance and guidance to employees on issues related to the shipping department. Managing the end of the day cleaning duties. Shipping Supervisor is responsible for coaching employees. Good coaching involves working with employees to establish suitable goals, action plans and time lines. The supervisor delegates and also provides ongoing guidance and support to the employee as they complete their action plans. Responsible to ensure that employees follow the organization's policies and procedures. Shipping Supervisor and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). Note: PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment if required for your specific role - not all roles require specific PPE.
