Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Loader in Dallas, TX to help move window units from production to trucks. You will load units by hand, stage them safely, and use carts and scanners to track inventory.

Expect 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday with mandatory Saturdays, standing on concrete, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Benefits start day one including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k) with tuition reimbursement and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• One year of experience with RF/handheld scanners.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts Mon-Fri with mandatory Saturdays; hours vary by workflow.
• Must stand/walk on concrete; able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Load window units into trucks using carts and hand carts, stacking safely.
• Pull units from staging bays using a pick sheet and load onto carts.
• Scan units onto trucks using handheld scanners.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Stage units from production lines into staging bays.
• Assist in other department tasks; housekeeping and unloading as needed.

Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loader will be responsible for loading window units into trucks using carts and hand carts and stacking units safely and securely
• Pulling units from staging bays using a pick sheet and loading onto carts
• Scanning units onto truck using handheld scanners
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with other team members
• Staging window units from production lines into staging bays
• Assist in other areas in the department as needed—housekeeping, unloading trailers, etc
• Wear proper safety equipment and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

• One-year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
• One-year experience with RF/Handheld scanners
• Candidate must be able to work up to twelve hours in a shift Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays; work hours are dependent on work flow and season of the year
• Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
