This contract Shipping Associate role supports a busy manufacturing operation that produces electrical connectors used to power electric pumps in oil and gas drilling. The position focuses on accurately pulling, packaging, and shipping products, including cable cutting and preparation, while working closely with customer service and a small shipping team. This is a day-shift role on a Monday–Friday schedule, designed to cover a medical leave for several months, with the possibility of longer-term opportunities based on performance.

This role is based in a warehouse and manufacturing setting with a steady but sometimes busy pace. The position follows a Monday–Friday day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a standard 40‑hour workweek. The work requires standing for up to 8 hours per day and handling boxes that can weigh up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with the aid of pallet jacks and carts. A sit‑down forklift is used to move cable and materials, and equipment such as a warehouse scale, tape measure, cable measuring machine, and battery‑powered cutting device are used daily. Steel‑toed boots are required as part of the dress code, and safety practices are emphasized. The pace of work is generally steady, with occasional busy periods as shipping volumes increase.
This is a Contract position based out of SANTA ROSA, CA.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
