This role involves working in a clean, production-based environment assembling small electronic components and cable assemblies that support precision construction testing equipment. You will read and follow detailed work instructions, perform highly repetitive tasks while seated, and contribute to multiple stages of a production line, including gluing, shelling cables, and housing cable assemblies. Based on your interview and skills, you may be assigned to one of several stations, all requiring strong attention to detail, consistent quality, and reliable productivity. This is a production-based environment where all positions are located in a single room, allowing you to see the full flow of work from crimping through housing cable assemblies, shelling cables, and gluing. The workspace is very clean and organized, with approximately 12 employees seated at individual workstations. The environment is described as clean and laid-back, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a smooth production flow so that one station does not create bottlenecks for others. First shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and second shift runs from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Contractors may wear ear pods and listen to music during work, as long as they do not watch videos. You will work with small parts, cables, circuit boards, hand tools, small presses, and machines that use ultraviolet light, all within a seated workstation setting.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
