Job summary

CMI Group Aerospace & Defense in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented shipping/receiving associate for a full-time day shift (6am - 3:30pm). You will maintain inventory, prepare parts for shipment, and ensure packaging meets customer specifications in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work well with others. ITAR requires US citizenship or permanent residence; experience with ERP/MRP and MS Office is a plus.

Location:3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (40th and Southern)

Shift: Full time, day shift (6am - 3:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Maintains inventory, including weekly cycle counting
• Packages parts for shipment or inventory
• Verifies and adheres to customer packaging and delivery requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, lift, reach, grasp, bend, stoop, squat and/or walk the majority of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to follow instructions & willingness to learn
• Due to ITAR requirements, must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Other experience that includes:

• ERP/MRP system experience
• Logistics knowledge (FedEx, UPS, Freight Services)
• Min 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis
• Requires standing, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, reaching, sitting, fine hand/finger manipulation up to 8 hours per day
