Hiring for Shipping & Trade Show Associate

We are seeking a part-time proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk. In this dynamic role, you will manage the end-to-end picking, packaging and shipping of orders within a deadline-based schedule. Occasional sales support at our retail store. Occasional assistance in popup Trade Show setup, sales and teardown. You will be part of a team that delivers exceptional customer service in a friendly, family-based environment.

Pay of $15 hour. Approximately 20 hours week. Days/Hours flexible.

Skills

Duties

• Accurately preparing, packaging, and labeling orders for shipping. Most products are barcoded for ease of verification.
• Manage pick, pack and shipping logistics utilizing paper based Pick Lists and computerized Shipping Applications. (Easy to learn and will train.)
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, updating physical inventory from back stock and inbounding orders.
• Assist in keeping shipping and showroom area clean, restocked and well organized.
• Occasional sales support for our retail store. We utilize automated systems based on barcodes and scanners.
• Occasional setup, sales and teardown of popup trade show events at the Timonium and Howard County Fairgrounds and other locations. Such as home and garden, craft, pet, holiday, religious, auto and motorcycle shows, etc. Major shows are generally one or two per month. Hours are negotiable. (Benefit of job is free attendance tickets.)
