Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Shipping Associate in Pennsylvania to load and unload trailers, verify loads, and keep the shipping yard orderly. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, and maintaining accurate records.

Candidates should have 1–3 years shipping experience, be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and communicate in English. Full benefits and shift options available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand or stoop for long periods.
• Warm working environment comfortable.
• Proficient English communication.
• Willing to work nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, verify route loads, and maintain the shipping yard.
• Count products for accuracy and quality; report variances and participate in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What you will be doing

• Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".
• Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What we need from you

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1‑3 Years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
