Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Shipping Associate in Bellevue, IL. You will load and unload trailers, verify routes, and maintain the shipping yard to ensure accurate shipments.

You will count and inspect products, maintain records, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and troubleshoot packing equipment as needed. Must be 18+ with 1–3 years of shipping experience and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-3 Years of shipping experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, verify route loads and trailer reports
• Count and check products for accuracy, maintain records, report discrepancies
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift)
• Troubleshoot packing equipment and related machinery

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".
• Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 Years of shipping experiencepreferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
