Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Shipping Associate in the United States. Great starting pay of $25.25 per hour with nights (5 PM-1:30 AM) and Saturdays off. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement are offered.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, verifying loads, counting products, and maintaining records. You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts and related equipment; capable of handling 50 lb lifts and working in a warm environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Comfortable working in a warm environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers accurately, verify route loads and trailer reports.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality; maintain records and cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot packing equipment and related machinery.

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in \"Cycle Counts\".
• Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.
