Job summary

AtWork Group in Mohawk, TN is seeking a dependable Shipping Associate for 1st shift. This temp-to-hire role pays $17.00 per hour and follows a 4:00 AM–1:30 PM schedule, with seasonal shift variations to meet production needs.

You will prepare, package, and label shipments, pick/pack orders, verify accuracy, load/unload trucks, and keep the shipping area safe and organized. Training and benefits available upon permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
• Verify order accuracy and inspect products before shipping.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklift (experience is a plus).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe shipping area.
• Follow shipping schedules and meet daily production goals.
• Complete shipping paperwork and use warehouse computer systems or scanners.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
