Job summary

nVent in Eleanor, WV is seeking a Loading Dock Associate to join our logistics team. You will load trucks, verify shipments, stage material, and secure loads for safe transportation.

You will handle material movement with various equipment, complete basic shipping paperwork, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards while collaborating with teammates. The role requires a high school diploma or comparable experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility to work in different weather

What you will experience in this role:
  • Plant loading dock operations – load trucks, verify outgoing shipments, stage material for efficient loading, secure loads for safe transportation
  • Material Handling – move product using various equipment while maintaining safety & accuracy
  • Documentation – complete basic shipping paperwork and ensure labels, counts, parts, and assigned material is packaged together
  • Safety & Housekeeping – maintain a clean, organized loading area and follow all facility safety rules, PPE requirements and equipment procedures
  • Teamwork – Work closely with other team members and teams to support smooth and accurate material flow
You have:
  • High school diploma or comparable experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Warehouse, shipping and loading experience preferred
